Is it going to rain next Friday
I generally dislike weather forecasts on TV or the radio where they boil down everything to a simple % rain chance. I guess you can’t blame them, if that is what the consumer wants. And don’t even get me started on the feels-like temperatures! How do they know what 92F feel like when I am in my shorts, as opposed to someone who is in a tux going to a wedding? But any way this report in the Houston Chronicle was a breathe of fresh air in weather reporting! Based on the models on a system that they predict will become a hurricane, they think it will reach Texas next Friday. Sure, that may not come to pass, but I like it when you give me the facts based on what the data says. I have my own pinch of salt.
